The Mitchell College of Business invites students to participate in the Ethical Case Study Competition. For this competition, student teams will analyze a case study, which presents an ethical dilemma in a business setting, and then provide a written response. The winning submissions will be invited to present their solutions to the dilemma in front of a panel of judges.

This year's judges Include:
Marcelle R. Naman, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor,  Department of Management)
Thomas Nelson, Ph.D. (Associate Professor, Department of Management)
Shanita L. Pettaway, J.D., Ph.D. (Â鶹´«Ã½ Pre-Law Advisor)

Important dates include:
- Competition Workshop | Monday, October 20 at 4 p.m. in Rm 260
- Case Study Released | Wednesday, October 22
- Submission Deadline | Saturday, October at 4 p.m.
- Case Study Presentations | Monday, October 27 at 4 p.m. in Rm 260 or 270

Teams must consist of at least two students with a maximum team size of six students. Each team must include one student who is majoring in a business discipline. The analysis presentation requires the teams to respond to seven tasks through a thoughtful and well-written analysis of the provided case study.

The winning team will receive a prize of $300. The prize money was donated by Jay Stubbs, a member of the Mitchell College Management Advisory Board and Risk Manager Director for Providence Partners. Student teams will choose a team captain. Team captains have been added to the "2025 Ethical Case Study Competition" assignment in the "Business Ethics" Â鶹´«Ã½ online site. The assignment will open and close as outlined above. Teams will submit their solution in PDF format by the deadline.
